Statement of Faith
I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I know that my salvation is secured through His death and ressurection. I have been born again as a new person through Christ.
I can not claim any right to this wonderful future in heaven through my own efforts, but through faith and acceptance in what Jesus has done for me. Through His remarkable love and mercy, I will try to be more like Him, and understand that He accepts me and all my imperfections.
When Christ endured crucifixion on the cross He bore the sin of the world and ultimately died so that it could be cancelled and forgotten - and part of that sin was my sin - past, present and future.
Jesus loves me and helps me work through my daily problems and challenges. I draw from Him the strength and perserverance I need to honor and glorify God.
As His child my purpose on earth is to learn to love God and to understand that I was created for more than this world. I was created for an eternity of fellowship with God. We are all created for an eternity of fellowship with God.
Being a child of Jesus is a wonderful thing - it is the ultimate gift of life. During my time on earth I will take baby steps to become more like Him and to learn to love Him.
